RandBroker is an independent guide to FSCA-regulated forex and CFD brokers for South African traders. We exist to answer one question honestly: which brokers are genuinely authorised to serve you, and what protection does that authorisation actually give you?
What we do
We compare brokers on the one axis that matters most in South Africa: the difference between an FSCA financial-services-provider (FSP) licence and an OTC Derivative Provider (ODP) licence. An FSP-only broker issues CFDs through an offshore principal; an ODP holder is authorised to write CFDs onshore as principal. We lead with the ODP holders, flag every FSP number for you to verify, and disclose — plainly and inline — where a broker's local protection is weaker than its badge suggests.
What we are not
We are not a broker, a financial services provider, or a financial adviser. We do not hold client funds, place trades, or provide advice or an intermediary service within the meaning of the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS). Nothing on this site is a personal recommendation. We publish general information and comparisons; the decision, and the risk, are yours.
